Emirates is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to achieve sales revenue targets by maintaining and developing professional liaisons with MICE agents, incentive houses, associations and other stakeholders. The primary goal of the role is to position Dubai as a leading MICE destination and increase 3rd/4th freedom traffic flows in these segments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with specified major MICE agents and associations to maximize all revenue opportunities. They will work closely with the global MICE team, channel and regional sales managers to manage strategic accounts and ensure business opportunities are shared across territories. The Senior Sales Executive will also build and maintain strong relationships with the various MICE/Association stakeholders such as convention bureaus, hotels, DMCs, and tourism offices to position Emirates as a leading MICE/Association carrier with a global reach.
Additionally, the Senior Sales Executive will actively investigate and report competitor activity within the assigned sales territory and work with the local sales team and global MICE team to consider Emirates’ response. The candidate will also generate sales leads using various business intelligence tools, qualify them, and convert them into accounts. They will closely monitor revenue results and account potential and recommend and implement necessary actions to maximize revenue.
To qualify for this position, applicants must have at least five years of experience in all aspects of the airline/travel trade sales environment, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and PowerPoint. The candidate should also be fluent in spoken and written English, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a pleasant, outgoing personality. A minimum of 12 years of schooling or equivalent education is required, and the candidate must have the right to work and live in Pakistan.
